About Mogogelo Camp
The facilities at Mogogelo offer comfort and relaxation to guests who can cool off at the swimming pool, make use of the bar, and gather at the traditional campfire in the evenings. The layout of the camp allows for extensive views of the natural surroundings and the waterhole from all rooms and the main shared spaces. Located in a private concession on the eastern edge of the Okavango Delta, Mogogelo receives seasonal flooding and exploring is done by game drive. Each offers a fantastic way to enjoy the natural landscape and its inhabitants. Afternoon game drives morph into night drives, bringing the nocturnal creatures to the spotlight.

The lion density of the Okavango Delta is a result of the strong buffalo population. Hyenas compete for prey, while leopards are frequently seen observing from the trees. Wild dogs are a particularly special sighting of the Delta, thriving with plenty of room to roam.

Waterhole views
Accommodation at Mogogelo is in 10 classic Meru-style canvas tents, raised on wooden decks and with en-suite bathrooms and private decks on each tent. All rooms stretch out alongside the communal area, and each has a view of the waterhole and the Okavango Delta wildlife that frequents the area in front of camp. Each canvas tented bedroom at the Camp has either a king-size or two twin beds with characteristic wooden frames and headboards, complete with crisp, white linen and mosquito canopies
