About African Excursions Guest House
The Khwai guest house accommodates guests in seven individually thatched chalets complete with en-suite bathrooms and a small private deck area. Accommodation looks onto the shared garden and thatched lapa where guests will find the bar and dining table. Shared facilities also include common restrooms and a boma. Each individual guest chalet faces the garden space, which surrounds the main gathering area – the lapa – where meals are served, and the bar is stocked. Guests eat together at a communal table set up in the shade on the deck, while garden trees offer some greenery and shade to the casual outdoor lounge

The Khwai River, which acts as the border between Moremi Game Reserve and the Khwai Community Concession is a magnet for free-roaming wildlife, especially during the dry season when it offers plenty of water and opportunities for food for both predator and prey. The beauty of this particular location is that guests can benefit from the exclusivity of the concession and enjoy the greater ecosystem on full-day safaris into Moremi.
