It is impossible to imagine a more memorable African safari than in the comfort and privacy of your own exclusive mobile safari camp, surrounded by an entirely exclusive landscape. Experience the intimacy and flexibility of your own camp, guide, safari vehicle, and staff compliment as you journey through the wilderness.
Mobile safaris, and more specifically camping mobile safaris, are undoubtedly the best way to explore Botswana. The experience consists of traveling as a small group on a 4x4, moving camps as you proceed across remote regions, sleeping under a dome canvas tent in wild areas left completely untouched with no infrastructure.
We provide spacious dome tents measuring 3 meters by 3 meters that have ample lighting at night. We provide our guests with super comfortable and warm beds, laid out on a soft padded carpet and lined with comfortable bedding. Our beds ensure a good night's sleep for their guests.
Each tent has an en-suite bathroom with a bucket shower (for hot or cold showers), a compost or pit latrine loo, and other necessary amenities to ensure comfort and privacy.
We have designed our main area to be simple yet comfortable and charming at the same time. Among its features are a dining table and camp chairs, a carpeted chill-corner with cushions, a coffee and tea station, a bar with plenty of ice, and, of course, an open fire at night and in the early morning. All of this is set up under the African sky by the backup team and is open to the surrounding wilderness and the wildlife that lives there.
With no permanent structure or barrier between you and the natural environment, this experience is unparalleled. We invite our guests to sit back, relax, and enjoy themselves without having to contribute to the daily camp duties. Camp assistants pitch tents and a dedicated chef prepares wholesome meals. The campfire crackles away in the evenings before a delicious three-course meal is served outside. In the evenings, lanterns light the campsite to keep things natural and subtle.

During a game drive, visitors will typically ride in open-sided 4x4 vehicles, led by experienced guides who are knowledgeable about the area and its wildlife. Early morning and late afternoon game drives are the most popular, as these times offer the best chances of spotting wildlife when they are most active.
Walking safaris allow visitors to explore their surroundings on foot, providing a more intimate and up-close encounter with the natural environment and its inhabitants. Experienced guides lead walking safaris, sharing their knowledge and expertise on the flora and fauna of the bush. Walks are only available from our Okavango Explorations Camp.
Mokoro safaris are a popular activity in the Okavango Delta, offering a unique and peaceful way to explore the waterways of the Delta and observe aquatic wildlife. Mokoros are traditional dugout canoes made from the trunks of large trees, and are propelled through the water by a poler who stands at the back of the boat using a long pole to push and steer.
A boating safari, is a unique wildlife experience that takes place on a boat or small, allowing you to explore rivers, lagoons, or other bodies of water while observing and encountering various wildlife species. Instead of driving in a traditional safari vehicle, you navigate through waterways to witness animal behaviour from a different perspective.
Adventure travellers can enjoy an original safari experience on this type of journey, complete with en-suite bathrooms with hot bucket showers, fresh linen, and comfortable beds. You will be cared for by a team of staff. A flawlessly recreated camp awaits you each evening... as do ice-cold sunset drinks.
