Central Kalahari Game Reserve

The Central Kalahari Game Reserve is a large protected area located in the Kalahari Desert of Botswana. It covers an area of over 52,000 square kilometers and is one of the largest game reserves in the world. The reserve is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, cheetahs, giraffes, and many species of antelope. With the arrival of the rains during the summer months, from the end of November until April, the desert turns into a wildlife sanctuary.
